Spring Summer Trends 2015 – 5 Colours to wear
POSTED : August 9th, 2015 | CATEGORY : Inspiration
To save you time, here are the Spring Summer Trends by colour so you know what to look for in stores when you begin to prepare for your new season wardrobe. A chance to freshen your wardrobe and embrace the season ahead. The colours this season are not surprising yet very wearable. Don’t forget that colour actually helps your mood and enhances your shape when chosen well…
#1 KHAKI IS BACK
Wonderful news for Autumn skin tones – khaki is back in full force. Along with it comes military style. A great colour to pair with caramel and a wonderful transpersonal colour too. Love the new Sass and Bide khaki military jacket featured here.
#2 YELLOW THE SIGN OF SPRING
Whilst this shade is not for everyone, it is has many dimensions from burnt yellow, amber, daffodil to saffron or even canary yellow. Think broader as there will be a shade for you. If you are from warm tones, look for more burnt yellows or those with depth. If you are pink/cool tones, then go with softer shads. The trick is figuring out your skin’s undertone, then finding the hue that best complements it. Loving the new Spring Summer Collection for Carla Zampatti which has some wonderful yellow options.
#3 NAVY, NAVY, NAVY
The new black is navy. If you wear a lot of black, this is a blessing this season. It is as flattering as black and often brings out your skin tone in a more softer way. It works across many colours and can be easily paired with it’s bff white or nudes or even yellow! Country Road has many options in their new Spring/Summer collection…
#4 BLACK AND WHITE
Monochrome has been around for many seasons now as a wardrobe staple, however, what makes this season different is the texture of fabrics and patterns mixed together. A timeless classic and perfect for many occasions. Have more fun with it and pair patterns and different fabrics together.
#5 HEAD TO TOE WHITE ON WHITE
Not a big shock that white made it into this season’s colour palette. However, the new style tricks are focused on how you wear it – lots of layering and varying the shades of white so it is more tone on tone is the key. Another great aspect of this colour trend is that when you wear white on white it is more slimming.
