How do the tours work?
Upon booking a tour, you will receive a confirmation email about where and when to meet, along with our contact information. On the date of the tour, we will meet at a specified location [usually a cafe] where we will have a 30 minute style consult on body shapes and colours. We will then go by foot from there. Most tours are 3 hours in length.
Is there much walking?
Our tours are normally 3 hours in length, but walking is not too strenuous, with most tours offering rest stops or tea breaks. The walks are approximately 1km – 2.5km, with a few stairs along the way. Heels are not advised.
Do you pick up from our Hotel?
We meet all clients for walking tours at a specified location [usually a cafe] as it ensures you receive much better value for your investment. Hotel pickups can be organised for an extra charge and for private tours.
What if I am shopping for certain items?
If you are looking for certain things, please pass on this information before your tour. This will help us to comply with your request during the tour, if possible, or give you some addresses to check out later. If you are looking for something really specific or are shopping for something that is not a part of our listed tours, we suggest you consider a Custom Tour.
What if I have a large group?
CHIC have extensive experience with large groups/ incentive tours. Please contact us to discuss your requirements further.
When should I make a reservation?
We suggest you wait to book your tour after your travel plans are finalized. We recommend booking your tour at least 2 weeks in advance, but last-minute tours are often available, so be sure to check with us! Of course, the earlier you book the tour, the better your chance of getting the exact date you want.

What if it’s raining on the day of my tour?
Our shopping tours go ahead as planned, rain or shine. (Our stylists are experienced with the local weather, and will look for ways to keep you out of the rain as much as possible). Sorry, but refunds are not available for rainy day or inclement weather cancellations.
How long is a tour voucher valid for?
Tour vouchers and Gift Vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of purchase.
What languages are the tours conducted in?
All Chic Style tours and styling sessions are conducted in English.
Do Chic stylists accept tips?
The cost of the tour includes everything, but your guide will be happy to accept a tip if you feel that he/she provided you with exceptional service.
